I remember the days, Motorola was a hot favorite for its superb quality and most close to Google. Android skins were not as fluid as it is today. However, Motorola was always the best device for every Android lover. The user experience on Motorola is the most exciting with powerful and durable hardware. Motorola phones were built to last with the most regular Android updates. Android updates in past were slow and did not reach most devices even by big manufacturers. Motorola was always among the first ones to provide latest Android updates to the users with security updates and new features.
In addition, the line-up was very easy to remember and recall. Just fast forward few years and you will have a handful of Motorola devices. Every other day we find Moto in the news for a new device. The worst part is, devices are so identical and almost having similar specs. Additionally, updates have been slow on Moto devices and pricing has also been erratic. There are many other devices with better specs within the same budget.
Motorola recently launched another new device called Moto 1s with a Snapdragon 450 SoC in China. The design features very strong resemblance to the recently launched Moto G6. Moto G6 is announced in April this year but will release in May this year. The display follows the 2018 trend of 18:9 ratio with a Full HD+ display. A 5.7″ display sports the front of the display.
The device bears a dual camera setup with a 12MP f/1.8 sensor+ 5MP f/2.2 for all the dual camera goodness of bokeh and shallow depth of focus. Powered by the 450 SoC along with only a single variant of 4GB RAM. The front of the camera houses a 16MP f/2.0 sensor. The devices come with 8.0 with ZUI 3.5 skin. The internal storage on the device is 64GB with Sd Card support for expansion. To drive the device there is a 3000 mAh battery. It has all the important sensors, Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and oleophobic coating. The price is 1,499 CNY/ $235 for single 4GB/64GB variant.
